Cats Rule.... (we let them think so)
This is Chasity - She's our oldest kitty. She wandered onto our deck in the summer of 2000 as a starving kitten. She was pretty feral at that point and while she is our shyest cat, she has definately become affectionate to those she knows and trust.
"Ellie" is the only one of our cats that we got on purpose. She is a beautiful solid black cat with cotton for fur and rocks for brains. We often say that someone must have died her black becuase she is all blonde :) Ellie is a real lover. She came to rule our house in May of 2004 as a kitten. We love her despite her handicap.
Sylvia is our newest family member. We don't know how old she is but we suspect she is an older cat of somewhere between 8-10 years. She quickly put the other cats in their places. She showed up on our doorstep in January 09.... filthy, freezing, and starving. She wasn't feral. She was either lost or abandoned. We love her. She will live out the remainder of her life spoiled in our household.
And then there's "Frank". What can I say about Frank? Everyone needs a little Frank in their life. In early summer, 2006, he jumped out of a flower bed in our back yard and started limping away. After checking him out we took him to our vet and had two extra toes that were growing back into his pads removed. Our vet also neutered him for us (for free). He must have known the world couldn't handle another Frank. Anyway.... after all that we tortured him with.... he decided to stick around. Go figure....!! Frank came to grace us with his presense at about a year and a half old. (lucky us!)
